What is EIFS?
EIFS is a multilayered cladding system that provides exterior walls with an insulated, water and fire resistant finished surface. It has the aesthetic appeal that you are looking for from a stucco finish but with substantial functional improvements.
Why EIFS?
Energy Efficient\\ Reduces air infiltration by as much as 55%. Your walls are the greatest areas of heat and air conditioning loss so any improvements to wall insulation becomes very meaningful in terms of energy conservation.
Durability\\ Designed to be very flexible which allows it to absorb "building movement" over time. This makes the system highly crack resistant and because its formulated with 100% acrylic binder, it rarely needs painting.
Design Flexibility\\ With the limitless colours and textures, it's versatile in that it can bear a resemblance to stucco or stone but also be fashioned into virtually any shape or design.
Water Resistance\\ Water channels between the insulation and your building substrate prevent moisture buildup in the exterior. Water intrusion is rare because this system is fastened using an adhesive which is non invasive to your wall structure (no nails).
Fire Resistance\\ The system has passed the major fire resistance tests that is required by building code in terms of ignitability and flame spread.
Our EIFS Process
\\ Bind EIFS Insulation to building substrate.
\\ Apply base coat to insulation.
\\ Embed the reinforced fibre glass mesh into the base coat.
\\ Apply acrylic finish.
